I’m a UX Designer based on the East Coast of the United States. I love collaborating with others to solve problems and using my creativity to build impactful products.
I earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire where I worked as research assistant for the Psychology, Brian, Behavior, and Cognition lab. There, I learned how to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data by designing memory tasks for rats.
After college, I became a Medical Lab Technician to further my skills in recognizing data trends and working in a team. My passion for user research and helping people within the medical lab field inspired me to dive deeper into UX Design.
After completing UX Design school, I was offered a job as a UX/UI Designer Contractor at Dellfer Inc., a software security company. As the sole designer on the team, I honed in on the importance of delivering a product that provides clear details, notes, and documentation to eliminate ambiguity for front-end developers.
Then I became a UX/UI Designer at TransPerfect, the global leader in localization services. Here, I collaborate daily with developers, software engineers, and the product design team, brainstorming intuitive ideas to make sure TransPerfect's products are updated with the latest trends and are user-friendly.
In addition to my full-time role, I work with a startup called Geopet as a UX Designer. My focus is on creating user-centered designs that enhance usability and the overall user experience. I work closely with the founder and developer to ensure the product is intuitive, engaging, and meets users' needs.
My husband and I have a shared passion for collecting and restoring pinball machines. Bringing a vintage 1970s pinball machine back to life, with its intricate artwork and mechanics, is both fascinating and rewarding. I also enjoy spending time with my four “fur-kiddos,” photography, running, and horsebacking on my off time.
